Mentoring
One of my key skills is mentoring, supporting and nurturing talent throughout the IT function. As I am no threat to their current role, I can leverage my years of experience to become a trusted advisor to your key talent, helping them unlock their potential and deliver even greater results for the organisation.
Providing a mentor is a great way for an organisation to recruit a less experienced candidate, or better still, to promote from within the organisation. I can provide a sliding scale of support, reducing as the individual become more capable and confident.
Creating an IT strategy can sometimes be a difficult and time-consuming activity. But, as a key linkage between; business goals, IT activity, and budgets, it is a vital document. I can assist in the preparation of the strategy, ensuring that it is high-level and focussed to meet stakeholder needs, but also detailed enough to steer day to day IT activities.
